Olufemi Samson Aduwo

Olufemi Samson Aduwo was born in 1963. He obtained a Diploma (Distinction) in Mass Communication from University of Lagos, Nigeria and B.A in Communication and Media Studies from Franklin University, Switzerland.

He worked with GCA Associates; a Switzerland based Agro-allied Company as produce buyer .He attended management courses in Switzerland, Spain, Greece and France between 1989-1993. He was involved in the struggle for the actualisation of June 12, 1993 Presidential Election won by late MKO Abiola as a member of Democracy Defenders an affiliate of NADECO. In 1999 he was appointed South West Coordinator of Civil Society Partnership for Democracy (CISPAD), a coalition of Civil Society Organisations that observed 1999, 2003 and 2007 general elections in Nigeria. In 2008, he was appointed the National Coordinator, Rights Monitoring Group and 2015 he became elected President of the Group, a body committed to combating corruption, promotion of enduring democracy and sustainable electoral process in Nigeria.

Presently, he is the President, Board of Trustees of Human Rights Protection Advancement Foundation he was appointed National Coordinator, Conference on Security, Development and Democracy in Nigeria (CSDDN), a body made up of 79 civil society organisations working with Federal Government on amendment of the 1999 constitution. He was a Director Public Affairs of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management, 2004-2006. He was the pioneer President of Probity and Ethics Society (PES) and elected Chairman of Omega Multipurpose Co-operative Society Limited since 2010. A Fellow of Kegites (a socio-cultural organisation across tertiary institutions in Nigeria and Diaspora. He is a member of Rotary International and a member of Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).

He was a member, INEC Anambra State 2009, Governorship Election Monitoring and Observation Board, a body set up under Section 160 of the Constitution with approval of Mr. President to conduct the Governorship election of the State. In the last general elections, Prof. Attahiru Jega OFR, Chairman INEC appointed him on behalf of election observer groups to observe the Presidential Election results along with INEC Chairman and National Commissioners of the commission in recognition of his invaluable and outstanding contribution to the development of democracy and good governance in the Nigerian .A fearless antagonist of irresponsible governments and lawlessness ,a terror of corrupt political office holders an incorruptible patriot.
